XenoAudit

One read-only board for every project you maintain.

One board for every project you maintain. XenoAudit shows which dependencies are outdated or have security advisories, and where the project’s requirements, your Mac and the production server disagree: PHP version, lock files, the deployed commit, extensions and .env keys. It only reads. It never changes anything.

What XenoAudit will do

XenoAudit is being planned now. Here is what the first release is meant to do. Details may change before release.

  • Parity at a glance

    Declared, local and production side by side for PHP, lock files, the deployed commit, Node, extensions, framework version and more, in green, amber or red.

  • What’s out of date

    Composer and npm packages, framework versions and end-of-life dates, Swift packages, and security advisories with CVE links.

  • Strictly read-only

    It never installs or updates anything. On the server it runs only a fixed list of read-only commands.

  • .env keys, never values

    XenoAudit compares which keys are set in each environment without ever reading the values.

  • Fixes you run yourself

    Each finding shows the exact command to fix it, with Copy and Open in Terminal. There’s no Run button, on purpose.

  • Finds your projects

    Projects and servers are filled in from XenoHost and XenoDeploy, and servers are reached through your SSH aliases.

  • One board for everything

    A view across all projects, a menu bar badge with the red count, and history to see when production fell behind.

  • Once a day, gently

    One refresh a day at a time you choose, on power by default and skipped in Low Power Mode.

  • A CLI for schedules and CI

    xenoaudit runs every check with --json output, and exits with its own code when it finds red problems.
