    Zip Me Up 0.1 makes clean zips you can send to anyone: drop files or folders and get a .zip without .DS_Store files, `__MACOSX` folders, `._` files or extended attributes.

    New
    • Drop to zip. Drop files and folders on the window. Each drop gets a row that shows it queued, zipping, done (with the archive's name and size), failed or cancelled.
    • Mac metadata stripped, at any depth, using the zip, xattr and dot_clean tools that ship with macOS.
    • Your originals stay untouched. Safe mode, the default, cleans a temporary copy. Fast mode, in Settings, cleans the source in place.
    • Several items, one Archive.zip, like Archive Utility. A single item keeps its name, and existing files are never overwritten.
    • Progress, cancel and Show in Finder. Cancelling deletes the partial archive. The last 5 archives stay listed between launches.
    • Settings for Safe or Fast mode, where zips are saved, and keeping symbolic links as links.
